City Rivals was born when songwriter, Greg McKenna (of Letters To Cleo) asked Michael Coen & Matt Diekman (of The Bleedin Bleedins/Midatlantic) to collaborate on a hand full of songs. City Rivals went into the studio & recorded this first round of songs. Shortly after, CR welcomed multi talented musician, Max Toste on drums & singer songwriter John Coen on guitars to complete it's line up.
